Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other food preparation tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Support the culinary team in menu planning and special dietary needs as required.
- Participate in inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies.
- Assist with dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
