Position Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team. This full-time, on-site role involves supporting the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experience, maximizing store profitability, and fostering a positive team environment. The Assistant Store Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards and driving the success of our location.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver an Incredible Guest Experience: Assist in managing day-to-day operations to ensure every guest receives an exceptional and immersive experience.
· Maximize Store Profitability: Collaborate with the General Manager to plan and execute local marketing strategies, aiming to optimize occupancy and revenue.
· Build and Develop Store Staff: Support but not limited to include hiring, training, supervising and, if necessary, terminating staff to build a cohesive and effective team.
· Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Monitor, manage, and address any technical issues that arise during daily operations to ensure seamless guest experiences.
· Manage and Oversee Safety Programs: Ensure all safety protocols and policies are followed, maintaining a safe environment for both guests and staff.
· Assist in Store Management: Co-lead the creation of employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours, while meeting state and federal scheduling laws. Work with the store management team to maintain daily checklists and audits.
Qualifications:
· Leadership Experience:
Minimum of an associate’s degree (Bachelor's preferred) or 5 years of relevant experience at the operations management level in retail or hospitality industries.
· Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Business Acumen: Basic understanding of profit and loss statements, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office or GSuite, especially MS Excel.
· Technical Proficiency: Basic IT and technical skills to troubleshoot support issues during daily operations.
· Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, occasionally lift more than 50 lbs, and handle tasks requiring close-distance hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
· Work Ethic: Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and the ability to learn quickly and independently in a fast-paced environment.
