What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool/Spa Technician / Apprentice / Trainee position at Sandbridge Blue Realty Services?
Great opportunity to learn how to balance chemicals in pools and hot tubs, maintenance and repairs. Also an opportunity to learn to clean carpets, tile, upholstery, etc.
Great learning and gig opportunity for recent grads or Local College Students, but open to anyone who is interested in learning the trade.
Property Services Technician/Apprentice will need reliable transportation (preferably a truck for hauling chemicals/equipment) and valid drivers license.
-Ability to report to work at Sandbridge main office location mandatory, then travel to vacation homes to clean and check/balance chemicals.
-Obtained Certified Pool Operator status with current certification, PREFERRED but NOT REQUIRED. We will train the right candidate.
-Gain Intimate knowledge of pool/spa operations with a goal of growing the business.
-Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without difficulty is a requirement.
-Previous Mechanical, Maintenance, or HVAC experience will be beneficial in this position.
-Positive attitude with background in customer service.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Ability to take ownership of surrounding pool and spa areas (straightening chairs, throwing away stray trash, etc.).
-Work closely with the Property Services Manager.
-No conflict of interest with additional pool/spa jobs “on the side.”
