We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Compressor Development Engineer to join our team at Sanden International, USA, Inc.
About the Role
This is a key leadership position that will oversee the development of innovative compressor solutions for various applications. As a seasoned engineer, you will lead cross-functional teams in designing and testing high-performance compressors, ensuring they meet or exceed customer requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead product development by setting technical goals and objectives.
- Oversee the execution of projects from concept to production, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain engineering specifications, drawings, and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including design, manufacturing, and testing teams.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing expert advice on compressor performance and application.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in automotive application design, compressor development, FEA analysis, vehicle and compressor testing, and HVAC system knowledge.
- Proficiency in current computer technology and applications, including CAD, CAE, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with IATF-16949 and ISO-14001 procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EPA-608 and EPA-609 certifications.
- Experience in a similar leadership role.
