What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatch Coordinator position at Sander Mechanical Service?
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Perform day-to-day dispatching of 40 HVAC Technicians
- Assist in laying out schedules in advance (as able) to help project manpower needs
- Schedule customer requests promptly and dispatch the appropriate service technician based upon the customer, nature of call, skill level, and response time required
- Exercise ability to recognize which technicians are best suited to complete different service tasks
- Track technicians throughout the day and relay all job information to technician before dispatching to the site
- Review Technician Service Tickets for completeness and accuracy and ensure they are received in a timely manner for billing
- Answer incoming phone calls to the company
- Be available to join on-call rotations (cover dispatch of after-hours emergency service calls 4-6x annually on a weekly rotation)
- Provide responsive customer service: answer incoming customer calls quickly, professionally, and pleasantly. Coordinate service, repairs, quotes, questions, and field any complaints
- Keep customers updated on status of work in progress (when jobs span multiple days)

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
