Grading Laborer- G L0225
Sanders Brothers Construction is currently seeking Grading Laborers to support their Charleston area grading projects. Sanders Brothers has successfully supported customers throughout the state for more than 60 years. The Grading Laborer will be critical to our continued support of our customers in the Charleston area.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Grading Laborer I will be responsible for supporting site development leadership, equipment operators and other site preparation professionals as needed. This will require maintaining a neat job site, movement of materials by hand or hand tools, and providing general labor support as needed.
- Follow direction of grading foreman or designated supervisor.
- Provide labor support to site superintendents, equipment operators, utilities crews or other designated site development personnel.
- Use of various hand tools including shovel, rake or other tools used to move materials.
- Train to operate earth moving equipment (roller, off-road dump truck, farm tractors, broom, skid steer / bobcat).
- Work in varying weather conditions and work environments including dusty, wet, loud noises, etc.
- Keep company work site clean and orderly, informing management of any safety concerns.
- Comply with all SBCC policies, procedures and safety requirements.
- Perform any other general duties as specified.
