IPS – RMB Products is seeking a Chemical Rotational Molding Operator who is responsible for operating and maintaining Roto-mold equipment to produce quality products. The Operator ensures products are produced to engineering specifications and that the finished product meets quality standards of RMB and customer demands. The operator position requires overtime

Job Accountabilities:
Will have a willingness to learn and improve through on-the-job training- Set up machines to start production cycles; prepare molds by cleaning them, adding inserts, and other components
- Program time, temperature, and rotation on machine to achieve proper molding per set up sheets
- Assure that all vent tubes and parting lines are cleaned each time on rotational mold
- Obtain correct powder and molds per work order; and fills buckets with the proper resin, dye, and/or weight to ensure quality
- Installs and/or removes pins and/or insert into proper place on the molds
- Properly mount molds and lined products on proper machine arm
- Receive, inspect, and return molds after work order is completed
- Maintain machine readiness with completion of daily and weekly preventative maintenance forms
- Stage and prepare production runs
- Teflon coat rings and plates as required
- Clock time and move parts completed on work order
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Remove lined product from arm and trim off end caps
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Remove part from mold and at the proper time trim and de-flash as required
- Visually inspect each part for quality
- Reject non-conforming parts as needed and place them in designated area
- Inspect finished parts for delamination, voids or bubbles, and contamination
- Deviate scrap products when completing a job; Fill out and turn in scrap forms for deviated
products
- Documents all molding, trim/preassembly, preventive maintenance and safety procedures and
insures compliance
- Provides a quality product that meets industry standards and customer expectation to be shipped
- Maintains time and productions records
- Follows all safety regulations
- Maintain work areas per the 5S Methodology
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop,
department or work crew
- Notifies supervisor when problems arise
- Makes optimum use of time and keeps work area clean and neat
- Abides by all the policies, procedures, guidelines of RMB including safety practices and regulations
- Completes other duties as assigned by Chemical Production Supervisor
Job Specifications:
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Years’ Experience: 0-1 years of relevant experience
Skills:
- Ability to understand and follow instructions given out orally and in writing by the Chemical Production Supervisor or customer expectations and requirements
- Must maintain the confidentiality of all projects, customers, and RMB
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer provided specifications
- Requires use of forklifts, cranes, , Rotational molding machines and other heavy machinery, and pneumatic and impact tools
- Exhibits objectivity and openness to other’s views and contributes to building a positive team spirit
- Requires advance writing, math, and mechanical skills
- Requires a flexible and cooperative attitude, which includes when asked to perform other duties or tasks that are not listed within this job description but within the scope of this position
