Job Purpose
Assist other maintenance employees, perform maintenance duties, and continually improve knowledge and maintenance skills through on-the-job experience, in-house training, and outside education.

Typical Duties:

  • Follow all safety requirements and perform all job duties in a safe manner.
  • Lead by example by following company policies (i.e., safety, Enviromental, time clock, break clock, & maintenance procedures, etc.).
  • Repair, maintain, diagnose and troubleshoot 480-volt 3 phase systems with low voltage electrical systems.
  • Install and repair industrial/mechanical equipment and distribution systems involving work of a varied nature.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on production and operations equipment.
  • Calibration test on field instrumentation.
  • Inspect, test, adjust, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems
  • Maintenance and replacement of defective instruments on heavy equipment
  • Troubleshoot potential and immediate problems: rebuild and test repairs on equipment/instrumentation
  • Install conduit, pull wire, and terminate per blueprints
  • Build and test electrical panels

General Skills:

  • Safety conscious
  • Communication skills
  • Familiarity with PLC's
  • Must be familiar with the various types of complex equipment/instrumentation (flow tubes, level transmitters, consistency transmitters, HMI controller, ect.)

Personal Skills:

  • Positive attitude toward new instruction and willingness to listen to constructive feedback
  • Ability and desire to work effectively with other people
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Impeccable attendance.
  • Able to work in a hot and dirty environment wearing the proper PPE.

Qualifications:

  • Understand and follow all safety requirements
  • Be physically able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid I.D.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
  • Certification or degree, or equivalent in Industrial Electrical maintenance is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
