Swimming Pool Service Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for providing exceptional service in pool maintenance and repair. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' pools are clean, safe, and functioning optimally. This role requires hands-on work with various tools and equipment, making mechanical knowledge and experience essential.

*Company vehicle is NOT provided. The ideal candidate will be required to have a van, truck, or SUV. Mileage reimbursement will be provided. Tools will be provided.*

Responsibilities

• Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
• Inspect pool equipment for functionality and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to conduct repairs on pool systems such as pumps, filters, and heaters.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool.
• Replace in-ground and above-ground pool liners
• Build above-ground pools
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns regarding their pool maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while working in various environments.
• Collaborate with team members to complete larger maintenance projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pool maintenance or as a service technician is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool systems and equipment repair.
• Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and chemicals used in maintenance.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
