What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Repair Technician position at Sanderson Auto Repair Inc?
WANTED: Mid-Level Automotive Service Technician with Serious Skills and a Great Sense of Humor!
Hey, car whisperer! Do you have the skills to fix a clunky engine, the patience to diagnose a mysterious rattle, and the knack for turning a wrench with flair? We’re looking for a Mid-Level Automotive Service Technician who can keep up with our fast-paced, high-energy garage and still have fun while doing it.
Who We Are
At Sanderson Auto Repair, we’re all about cars and good vibes. Our shop is a mix of top-notch tools, talented techs, and just the right amount of shop banter. We pride ourselves on giving our customers (and their cars) the TLC they deserve while keeping our team motivated and smiling.
What We Need From You
We’re on the hunt for someone who’s got:
- Experience: You’ve been around the block (or under it) with 2-5 years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
- Skills to Brag About: You can handle diagnostics, brake repairs, suspension work, and routine maintenance like a pro.
- Tech Savvy: You know your way around modern diagnostics equipment and aren’t scared of techy tools.
- People Skills: You’re cool with customers and can explain repairs in plain English (bonus points if you’re fluent in-car noises).
- Team Spirit: You’re a pit crew player, not a lone wolf.
Why You’ll Love Us
- Awesome Pay: Competitive wages plus bonuses for rocking it.
- Perks That Perk You Up: Health benefits, PTO, and employee discounts.
- Tools and Tech Heaven: Work with the latest equipment in a clean, organized shop.
- Room to Grow: We’re all about leveling up – certifications, training, and career paths galore.
- Cool Culture: Work with a team that values collaboration, respect, and occasional pizza parties.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair all sorts of vehicle issues – from “weird clunking sounds” to actual problems.
- Perform routine maintenance and system inspections.
- Keep your work area neat, organized, and accident-free (safety first!).
- Share a laugh, teach a trick, and learn something new every day.
Qualifications We’d Love to See:
- ASE certifications (or working on them – we can help!).
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- A passion for cars and a solid work ethic.
- The ability to tell a great story about “that one time in the shop...”
