Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures, with a focus on performing oil changes and related services efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine oil changes, including draining old oil, replacing oil filters, and adding new oil to vehicles.
- Conduct multi-point inspections to identify potential issues and advise customers on recommended services.
- Check and top off other fluids (e.g., transmission, brake, coolant) as needed.
- Inspect and replace air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers about their vehicle’s needs and answering any questions they may have.
- Keep accurate records of services performed and maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive technology and industry trends.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training in automotive repair is a plus.
- Previous experience as a lube technician or in a similar role preferred but not required.
