What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Cashier position at Sanderson Automotive Group?
Sanderson Ford is looking for a Server/Cashier to join the onsite diner-style restaurant Starliner Diner. The Starliner Diner was added in 2007 so that Sanderson Ford customers, employees, neighbors and friends in Glendale would have a safe, friendly, and fun atmosphere to meet in and have excellent breakfast, lunch, or soda shoppe treat. The ideal candidate must have superb customer service, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. These skills are crucial for providing excellent guest experiences and contributing to a smoothly running operation.
Server Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers, take orders, provide menu recommendations, and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Order Accuracy: Accurately relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Table Service: Serve food and beverages, check on customers, and address any concerns promptly.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables and clearing plates.
Cashier Responsibilities:
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash drawers, count money, and reconcile transactions at the end of the shift.
- Customer Service: Assist customers with questions, resolve issues, and ensure a positive checkout experience.
- POS System: Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Food Safety: Adhere to food safety standards and procedures.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
- Problem Solving: Address customer issues and resolve problems effectively.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Knowledge: Possess knowledge of menu items, pricing, and restaurant policies.
This is an onsite Monday-Friday (occasional weekends) 7:00am-3:00pm job located at 5111 W Maryland Ave Glendale, AZ 85301.
