Sanderson Ford and Parts Mart have an opportunity for a Shipping Team Leader to join their award-winning team! $20.00 per hour starting with opportunities for overtime and career advancement.
The Shipping Team Leader is responsible for directing a team of shippers to quickly and accurately ship out parts orders to customers around the world!
Responsibilities:
- Advise your team on best practices, uphold the quality standards assigned by management, and optimize the process flow to increase the number of daily shipments leaving the facility each day
- Ship out parts to customers locally, nationally, and around the world
- Adequately package all shipped items to ensure they arrive without damage
- Keep shipping supplies inventory stocked and ready
- Keep parts department in order
Job Requirements:
- Full-time position Monday to Friday – 8 hours per day with a 60-minute lunch, as well as one every three Saturdays from 7AM to 3PM
- Prior automotive parts experience preferred
- Prior management experience preferred
- Able to lift 40 LBS unassisted and utilize stairs between 1st and 2nd floor of the warehouse multiple times per day
- Flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Clean background
- Clean drug test – this is a safety-sensitive position
- Clean driving record – need to be able to be trained in the operation of a forklift
