Job summary : The Staff Engineer I is responsible for design and engineering of utilities, highways, public works, infrastructure, and land development projects.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Prepare plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D for highway and street geometric, traffic handling, site logistics, signing and striping, pavement delineation, roadway grading, site grading and earthwork, roads, sanitary and storm drainage, storm water data reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with agencies, utility companies, and clients.
- Prepare meeting notes.
- Perform site visits.
- Other duties as assigned.
