Class A or B CDL dump truck driver

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving practices and the ability to operate various construction equipment.

Duties

• Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and asphalt to construction sites.
• Collaborate with site managers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of materials for ongoing projects.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and materials transported.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed, utilizing equipment such as loaders and backhoes.
• Follow all safety protocols while on the job site, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Engage in horizontal drilling, grading, paving, and other construction-related tasks as required.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a focus on dump truck operations.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery and other construction equipment is highly desirable.
• Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of building and digging processes.
• Proficiency in loader operation, grader operation, backhoe operation, and other relevant machinery is a plus.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
