Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Concierge to join our events team. This role is at the heart of our mission to deliver flawless events that exceed our clients' expectations. As the primary point of contact for our clients, the Event Concierge will ensure the seamless execution of events by meticulously reviewing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), overseeing meeting space arrangements, and confirming all details of the event are perfectly aligned with client needs. This role requires a blend of excellent organizational skills, proactive customer service, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the resort's operational teams, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service throughout the event planning process and execution.
- Review and confirm the accuracy of all Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring they align with client expectations and resort capabilities.
- Conduct thorough walk-throughs of event spaces with clients, showcasing the facilities and discussing layout, design, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with various departments (e.g., catering, AV, housekeeping) to ensure all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly.
- Provide proactive and thoughtful solutions to any issues that arise, maintaining the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction.
- Offer personalized recommendations and enhancements to elevate the event experience, based on the resort's unique offerings and services.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, preferences, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement and personalized service for repeat clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in high-volume, upscale settings.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, especially during event preparation and execution phases.
- The capacity to work outside in various weather conditions as needed, including but not limited to, exposure to the sun, heat, and potentially light rain, to oversee outdoor events or conduct site tours.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally, such as event materials, signage, and equipment.
- Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including computers, phones, and radio communication devices.
