Sandhill Cove is recruiting for a hospitality focused Security Officer to join our Facility Services Team!
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Security Officer:
- Responsible for greeting, directing and authorizing incoming traffic.
- Works in conjunction with the Maintenance, Housekeeping and Transportation departments when availability of staffing is limited and performs tasks as required to satisfy the residents' needs and concerns.
- Greet all guests, visitors and employees in a courteous professional manner.
- Performs scheduled rounds both inside and outside of the buildings to maintain a secure environment
- Monitors and maintains scheduled security checks, walking inspections and radio requests.
- Responsible for immediate notification of all emergencies to appropriate personnel.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- High school diploma is preferred.
- Position requires a valid Florida Driver License.
- Requires a Class “D” Security License
- Must have the ability to obtain a CPR/AED certification
- Must be proficient using various computer applications
Shift: Friday to Monday - 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm / 32 hrs a week
Starting hourly rate: $16.00 an hour
