General Summary: We a seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Crew Chief to join our team. As the Senior Crew chief, you will be responsible for leading a team of survey crew members in performing construction staking services for various projects. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of survey operations while adhering to project timelines and specifications.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a survey crew in performing construction staking tasks, including but not limited to layout, boundary surveys, topographical surveys, hydrographic, property and all types of control surveys.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to communicate survey findings and address any issues or concerns that may arise during fieldwork.
- Train and mentor junior survey crew members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.

Job Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty proficiently. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Knowledge of Land Survey Techniques, Principles and Standards. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as basic algebra and geometry to perform calculations.
Education or Formal Training:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in land surveying, with a focus on construction staking.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and methodologies.
- Valid drivers’ license and clean driving records.
- Proficient in CAD software is a plus
