Pipe Layer/Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled pipe layer to work with us in and around Sanford NC. We are a small company and you will be with a crew of 4-5 guys. You will be expected to be at our shop On time or early each morning to. We would like for you to have at least 5 years of experience in Underground utilities. We do water, sewer, storm drain, concrete, grading, and erosion control. When pipe work is stalled for the day you will be expected to perform on other crews doing what is needed. While we are a small company, we do a lot of big jobs and pay very close attention detail and this will be expected from you. We are a quality over quantity company and are seeking someone who shares that value.

Duties

• Work well with others and lead
• Show up early
• Communicate and instruct basic pipe work tasks to other crew members
• Setup pipe laser
• Help keep utility truck and trailer organized.
• Bolt up and install waterline fittings
• Test water and sewer lines
• Be able to work long hours
• Be teachable

Qualifications

• Experience in a construction site environment is preferred, particularly in utility work or pipeline projects.
• Knowledge of water sewer and storm drain installation from start to finish.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
