Sandhills Emergency Physicians is an independent and democratic group of emergency medicine specialists whose physician members are all board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. In addition to an experienced physician staff, a number of highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants serve our patients. We are contracted to provide emergency health care services to FirstHealth of the Carolinas hospital systems. Advanced Practice Providers operate out of the Pinehurst, Rockingham, and Raeford campuses. We are expanding our team of Advanced Practice Providers (both Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners).
Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Physician Assistant in the Emergency Department. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing immediate medical care to patients, assisting in emergency procedures, conducting patient assessments, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure efficient patient care. Full time monthly commitment 133. hours.

Job Requirements
- Physician Assistant is a graduate of an AMA Physician Assistant Program and NCCPA certification. Nurse Practitioner is a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program and ANCC certification.
- Prefer prior experience in emergency medicine acute care, or a related field of at least 2 years.
- Current NC PA/NP license which is unrestricted.
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration licensure.
