• These benefits vary by job classification.What Your Job Will Be Like : We are seeking a R&D Computer Science professional to work on teams addressing some of the nation’s most difficult challenges in the areas of data science, geospatial analytics, statistical analysis, text analytics, social analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and software engineering.On any given day, you may be called on to : Understand and address existing and emerging threats among a diverse customer set.Apply state of the art AI / ML techniques to geospatial analyticsPropose and lead data-centric research and development projects.Analyze existing innovative solutions and develop new solutions.Conduct independent technical projects or scientific research.Provide technical consultation or advice to staff and immediate management.Produce and disseminate research proposals, reports, or papers.Perform engineering or research tasks independently and across multi-functional teams.Candidates applying on this requisition may be interviewed and / or hired into one of several organizations at Sandia National Laboratories.Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.Salary Range : $114,000 - $227,500
