Position Summary
The Spa Attendant maintains the cleanliness of the locker rooms and spa lounge areas, offers spa tours, and serves guests beverages upon request.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greets guests upon arrival, offers spa tours and directs guests to locker room.
- Responsible for setting up spa lounge, locker room, and other relaxation areas, including refreshments. Conducts spa walk through ensuring all areas are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Retrieves, folds and stores all linens for locker room, treatments rooms, and spa amenities.
- Checks weekly inventory list to ensure proper supply levels are maintained.
- Does laundry and cleans dishes.
- Responds to all guest interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.
- Directs guests in proper use of the hot and cold plunge pools, steam room, and sauna to ensure the guests safety and physical wellbeing.
- Assists guests as needed, including serving alcoholic beverages and accommodating guest requests.
- Serves beverages and refreshments to spa guests.
- Assists guests with inquiries relating to spa services and other spa promotions.
- Must be able to initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly matter with guest and team members.
- Must participate in team member huddles and be knowledgeable of daily occurrences as they pertain to spa operations.
- Continues in computer-based learning and implement these skills into the workplace.
- Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia.

Education and Experience
Required:
- One (1) year customer service experience.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
Preferred:
- High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
Note: Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience.
License/Certifications/Registrations
- Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
- Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
- Must obtain and maintain a New Mexico Alcohol Server’s License within 30 days of hire date.
