Caregiver (Assisted Living)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in home care or long-term care settings and possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our Residents. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of those under your care.

Duties:

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Monitor and document patient observations, including changes in condition and vital signs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client's living space.
• Administer first aid as needed and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Assist with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed treatment plans.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficient in-patient Observation Techniques and Monitoring Vital Signs.
• Knowledge of Meal Preparation.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.

Must Have:

• At least 1 year of Experience in Home Care, Nursing Home or Assisted Living.
• Ability to Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment for Residents.
• Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal and Written.
• Empathy, Patience, and a Genuine Desire to Help Others Improve their Quality of Life.
