What Your Job Will Be Like
We are seeking a Construction Manager who will be accountable for construction work activities being performed by external construction companies. As the project leader, Construction Managers assure project success by managing the safety, schedule, budget, and quality of each project and assure that project requirements are met.
In this role, you can expect a fast-paced environment where you will manage multiple projects on any given day. You will proactively seek out issues and resolve them quickly; develop solutions for complex challenges, assemble teams to assure decisions are comprehensive and complete, reduce operational impacts, and assure accurate project costs and changes from the construction contractors.

About Our Team
The Facilities Project Execution Team is aligned with the mission to provide direct support for all products and services. We develop, manage, and deliver projects and provide project and construction management for building and infrastructure systems. Within this team are several departments who oversee small (~$50K) to very large (>
10M) projects such as design-bid-build and design-build of new facilities, that are customer and direct funded. We are responsible for the schedule, cost and quality of each project and work closely with our construction partners, line customers, and oversight to assure project success.
Posting Duration

Security Clearance
Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment / education verifications. NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs
If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.
