Controller

Sandis is seeking Controller in our Roseville office. This role assists with the preparation of the operating budgets, overseeing financial reports, performing essential duties relating to payroll and supervising a small team of accounting professionals. Our ideal candidate is detailed-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring adherence to GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A / R, A / P, GL, Cost Accounting, Revenue Recognition
• Review AP coding, sign checks and lien waivers
• Prepare AR collateral reports for bank loans
• Prepare periodic Utilization reports production
• Prepare Weekly Cash Flow updates
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial risks, and develop strategies to optimize cash management and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional development.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and improve business performance.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, working with CFO and Department to develop realistic financial plans and targets.
• Prepare project reconciliations and follow-up with clients
• Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and industry trends and recommend updates to policies and procedures as needed.
