What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Advisor position at Sandlot Partners?
Company Overview
Sandlot Partners is a founder- and sponsor-aligned investment platform built at the intersection of private equity, real estate, and strategic advisory. We deploy capital with intention, unlock liquidity without compromise, and back bold operators ready to scale. Sandlot isn’t a traditional fund or family office—we’re a strategic ecosystem designed to help visionary entrepreneurs and families maximize impact across both sides of the balance sheet.
We're curating a team of advisors who think differently—operators who understand capital allocation, relationship-building, and how to create generational momentum for clients who expect more than portfolio diversification and in need of a multi-family office solution.
Position: Strategic Wealth Advisor
Provo, UT | Full-Time | In-Person
This is not your typical Financial Advisor role. We're looking for a strategic operator—someone fluent in investment strategy, entrepreneurial thinking, and deep relationship work. You’ll help shape how capital, values, and vision intersect for high-performing families, founders, and business owners.
You'll plug into a high-growth environment that blends private equity rigor with boutique advisory intimacy and family office service. From legacy planning and investment structuring to helping families make better decisions with their health, time, and capital—you'll be part of something that executes more of a multi-family office for next-gen builders than a traditional wealth shop.
What You’ll Do
- Build, deepen, and manage trusted relationships with high-performing founders, families, and operators
- Design and implement strategic financial plans that go beyond retirement and into capital strategy, liquidity planning, and alternative asset exposure
- Collaborate on investment ideas across real estate, private equity, and alternatives—this is not a plug-and-play model
- Integrate Sandlot’s MW3 philosophy (Mindset, Wellness, Wealth, Wisdom) into your client engagements to help families thrive holistically
- Partner closely with our investment team, outside counsel, and founders to coordinate bespoke financial and estate planning structures
- Contribute to the evolution of a modern advisory platform with scalable systems, culture, and content
What You Bring
- Deep financial fluency, ideally with experience across private equity, real estate, or founder/operator ecosystems
- Curiosity, execution, and ability to be resourceful
- Series 65 (or equivalent) or willingness to obtain it quickly
- A strategic mind and entrepreneurial bias—you’re more of a builder than a box-checker
- Comfortable engaging with UHNW individuals and family offices
- Strong communication skills and a client-first mentality, with high trust and emotional intelligence
- A belief in alignment over assets—you care about the “why” behind the wealth
- Bachelor's degree required; CFP, CFA, JD, or MBA a plus
- Interest in golf is a plus
Why This Role Matters
You won’t just manage assets—you’ll help shape legacies. You’ll work alongside a team building something differentiated and durable. And you’ll do it in a space where capital is just one tool we use to help extraordinary families build lives they’re proud of.
