Overview:
The House Attendant plays a crucial support role in the housekeeping department, ensuring that room attendants have the supplies and assistance needed to maintain guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards. This team member is essential in keeping the hotel clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver clean linens and supplies to room attendants throughout the shift.
- Remove soiled linens, trash, and recycling from guest room carts and floor closets.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping storage rooms and supply closets.
- Vacuum, dust, and maintain cleanliness in public areas, including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and stairwells.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and room resets as needed.
- Refill housekeeping carts with amenities, toiletries, towels, and other essentials.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure guest and employee safety.
- Support other departments with special requests and tasks as needed.
- Prior hotel or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift and transport linens and supplies.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Salary : $18 - $20
