As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing trial balances, assembling and compiling data for financial reports, maintaining accounting records, and resolving complex problems.
With your exceptional communication skills, you will be able to interpret and explain County funding policies and procedures, as well as compose correspondence and reports of a technical nature.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Director, prepare correspondence, memos, and reports, maintain various records, and assist the general public with inquiries.

Responsibilities
A minimum of two years of progressively responsible financial record-keeping, bookkeeping experience, office administrative management, or support functions for a department or medium-to-large size program, and records management and retention; an Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, Office Management, or a related field; and a valid NM driver's license.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify amounts and codes for standard accounting entries; accept and process payments to accounts; perform data input; sort documents and post to proper accounts.
- Reconcile and prepare deposits from daily work; prepare check requests; prepare and process payroll; balance and reconcile accounts.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable, purchase orders, requisitions, warrants, payroll adjustments, invoices for third-party vendors, and resolve customer problems.
- Provide overall administrative support to the Director, prepare correspondence, memos, and reports, maintain various records, and assist the general public with inquiries.
