We are seeking a legal assistant in our Pre-Litigation Medical Records Department. The candidate we are seeking for this position is organized, professional, responsible, capable of working with limited supervision and committed to helping us meet all our clients' needs. This person must be a team player and be self-motivated, and able to keep up with a fast pace.
Responsibilities and duties include :
- Requesting / Obtaining client medical records, bills, and liens
- Communicating with health care providers, clients, and firm attorneys
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Manage docket, which includes but is not limited to, calling clients, inputting information into case software management, and spreadsheets
- Reviewing medical records to ensure accuracy
- Assisting clients in scheduling doctors appointments
- Other duties as assigned
