Position Location:
This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ US Headquarters site.
Our Sandoz flexible hybrid working approach allows US office-based employees to work up to 50% of
their monthly workday remotely. This role will not have the ability to be located remotely. Preference
will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.
Major Accountabilities / Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Accountability for special assets- including Private Label biosimilars commercial performance
Develop and execute near and long-term strategies for specific biosimilar assets, aligning it with the company’s goals and market needs
Monitor brand performance and market trends, making data-driven decisions to enhance brand equity and customer engagement.
Serve as the US Biosimilars and Specialty lead and interface for global Sandoz pipeline team and an extension of the CCO for pipeline selection process.
Lead early US Bio pipeline assessments, with aim to grow pipeline US pipeline >28 assets, and the development of early strategic commercial evaluations; focused on realizing strategic biologic assets with post LOE originator market opportunity of >$175B
Present to and prepare for executive management the US pipeline strategy and action plans for specific assets to address product viability, competitive threats and/ or exogenous market events, and US recommendations for investment
Lead forecast activities and recommendations for portfolio reviews (PFR), Global Bio Leadership Team reviews, Global Portfolio Team reviews (GPT)
Commercial Point for Business Development and Mergers & Acquisition Deals: Serve as the U.S. commercial point of contact for business development deals, evaluating biosimilar and specialty opportunities
Policy Initiatives: U.S. commercial lead for policy initiatives, translating impact to bio pipeline assessments, ensuring alignment with regulatory and business strategies. Includes evaluations incorporating CMS, FDA and other considerations
Key Capabilities Required:
US market expertise:
A deep understanding of the US healthcare landscape, US biosimilars market, and life sciences. This includes knowledge of drug development processes, biologics/biosimilars, and pipeline management.
Strategic Thinking:
The ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the organization's goals. This includes market analysis, competitive intelligence, and identifying growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership and strong interpersonal skills:
Experience in leading cross-functional teams, including global, R&D, regulatory, clinical, and commercial groups. Strong interpersonal skills are needed to foster collaboration, communication, and influence key stakeholders.
Risk Management:
Skills in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with pipeline projects, including scientific, operational, and market-related risks. This includes maintaining courage to identify and communicate risks in an effective manner.
Adaptability and Problem-Solving:
Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and the ability to solve complex problems that may arise during project development.

Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
Experience:
10-15 years of experience in commercial excellence, sales strategy, or project management in a B2B environment
Expertise in US biosimilars market and US healthcare delivery model
Operations Management and Execution
Process management
Experience managing large organizations
Experience working cross-functionally and trans-nationally
Influencing and leading in matrixed, diverse multi-functional teams.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $204,400 – 292,000 – 379,600 USD/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
On September 30, 2021, Sandoz entered into a 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement. Certain positions will have responsibilities to support the execution and adherence to CIA obligations, CIA-related deliverables, and any relevant audit, monitoring or Independent Review Organization (IRO) remediation.
