What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officers position at Sandpiper Bay Resort?
The Sandpiper Bay Resort, Trademark Collection by Wyndham in beautiful, Port St. Lucie, Florida is looking to hire experienced Security Officers to join our Loss Prevention team.
Security officers are responsible for the security and safety of the resort, guests, associates, visitors and vendors; and for providing exceptional service for our guests. Officers have the opportunity to interact with our guests and associates by assisting them with questions, directions, incident reports, problems and in emergency situations. They also are responsible for conducting vehicle and foot patrols of the property.
Other duties include exercising key control, processing lost and found items, supporting the Front Office operation, maintaining accurate logs, filling out incident reports, and completing building and grounds patrols, assist shuttle service and valet service if needed.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED required
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communications
- Previous security experience preferred
- Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification preferred
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.
- Security Class D License required.
- Must be able to pass a level II criminal background check.
- Candidate must have open availability.
- Work shifts and hours vary, weekend and holiday hours required.
