About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bistro Supervisor to join our team in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation industry. As a Bistro Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bistro, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and quality food. You will be responsible for managing a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, and ensuring that all staff members are trained to provide excellent customer service. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our guests have a memorable dining experience and that our bistro runs smoothly and efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Experience with inventory management and ordering
- Experience with scheduling and payroll software
- Experience with menu planning and development
- Certification in food safety and sanitation
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the bistro, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service
- Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served to the highest quality standards
- Train and develop staff members to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the kitchen, dining area, and storage areas
- Manage inventory and ordering to ensure that the bistro is well-stocked and prepared for busy periods
