About the Position
This is a leadership role that requires a strong background in food safety and quality assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of Food Safety & Quality Assurance at Sandridge Crafted Foods.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement programs to ensure compliance with SQF, USDA/FSIS, and FDA regulations.
- Lead the development of sanitary design and operating practices.
- Provide oversight and leadership of the facility's Quality Assurance team.
- Maintain and continuously improve existing validation programs for CCPs, Preventive controls, Sanitation.
Requirements
- Strong demonstrated transformational skills to provide evidence-based leadership.
- Experience building, leading, and developing high-performance FSQA teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
- Technical knowledge of COP and CIP, cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, sanitary design of food processing equipment, and internal auditing of food manufacturing facilities.
