What are the responsibilities and job description for the Used Car Technician position at Sands Ford of Red Hill?
Sands Ford of Red Hill's service department is growing, and we are looking for technicians to do repairs on our used cars.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with vehicles.
- Repair and replace parts as needed, such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify any additional repair needs.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations to customers.
- Complete service orders and maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
Experience:
- Previous experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician is required.
- Knowledge of auto body repair and welding is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with automotive repair.
- Familiarity with Ford vehicles is a plus.
