Golf Course Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the aesthetics of our grounds, ensuring that all landscaping and outdoor areas are well-kept and functional. This role requires an understanding of landscape maintenance, including the use of various tools and equipment. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in creating an inviting environment for all members and guest.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and irrigate landscaped areas to promote healthy growth of plants and lawns.
• Perform groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections of the landscape to identify any issues or areas needing attention.
• Assist in planting, weeding, and general garden upkeep to ensure a vibrant outdoor space.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects as needed.
• Follow safety protocols while operating tools and working on-site.

Requirements

• Experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in landscaping tasks.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for maintaining outdoor spaces.
• Basic knowledge of irrigation systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.75 - $14.00 per hour
