As a Speech Therapist at Sandstone, you will evaluate, develop, and implement therapy plans tailored to the needs of our residents. You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care, empowering residents to achieve their highest potential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess residents' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Create and execute personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Utilize RehabOptima to document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and swallowing functions.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement holistic care plans.
Qualifications : Education :
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Certification :
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Licensure and Certifications :
Current state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
