About the Role
The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding a diverse portfolio of commercial clients while ensuring the highest level of customer service. Responsibilities
- Develop and present customized insurance solutions that align with client needs.
- Oversee renewals of existing policies, ensuring continued coverage and identifying areas for enhancement.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with brokers, clients, and carriers to drive business growth.
- Analyze client insurance needs, risk exposures, and existing coverages to recommend optimal policies.
- Monitor market trends and pricing to remain competitive and source new business opportunities.
- Negotiate policy terms and coverage options with carriers on behalf of clients.
- Provide exceptional client service, responding promptly to inquiries, endorsements, and claims.
- Stay up to date on legal, regulatory, and industry developments affecting commercial lines coverage.
- Organize and attend client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities to strengthen relationships.
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of prior Independent Agency Commercial Lines Insurance Service experience.
- Active 220 Insurance License
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and AMS 360 (preferred).
- Exceptional communication skills with a history of superior client service and relationship management.
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills to assess risk and secure the best coverage for clients.
