Position Overview: As a Medical Biller you will be a part of a team of billing professionals, ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes. You will be instrumental in identifying challenges, implementing solutions, and supporting your team’s development.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit claims to various insurance companies electronically and manually.
• Answer questions from clients and insurance companies.
• Identify and resolve client and insurance billing complaints.
• Prepare, review, and send client statements.
• Reconcile and post payments.
• Follow up on delayed and denied claims (appeals).
• Analyze accounts receivable aging and claims adjustments.
• Manage collection efforts.

Essential Duties:

· Must be able to complete the full billing cycle

· Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies, both electronically and manually.

· Address questions and resolve issues for clients and insurers.

· Review and send client statements; reconcile and post payments.

· Follow up on delayed or denied claims, including appeals.

· Analyze accounts receivable aging and manage collection efforts.

Qualifications

· Minimum of 3 years of mobile radiology billing experience required; Medicaid knowledge is a plus. OR Minimum of 3 years of behavioral/mental health billing experience required.

· Proficient in Excel and other relevant software.

· Detail-oriented and highly organized.

· Familiarity with MediMatrix, Valant, or Central Reach is beneficial but not required.

Job Details:

· Type: Full-time, In-Person

· Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am- 1:30pm

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

• 5 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
