Key Responsibilities :
Direct Care : Engage with behavioral health patients, offering de-escalation and social de-escalation techniques and facilitating group therapy sessions.
Safety First : Conduct regular patient safety checks ensuring our residents are secure and attended .
Maintain a Positive Environment : Work alongside the team to keep a safe, orderly, and therapeutic ambiance.
Emergency Preparedness : Acquire the skills to recognize and aptly respond to patients in crisis, whether due to aggressive behavior, self-harm tendencies, or medical emergencies.
Thorough Documentation : Accurately chart observations in alignment with our facility's policy and procedures.
Team Player : Willingly receive guidance and directions from the Lead Behavioral director.
Admission & Discharge Assistance : Efficiently perform contraband checks and document patient belongings for secure discharge return.
