Sandstone Spring Valley is current recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team! The Maintenance Assistant works closely with the Director of Maintenance to ensure that our facility is in tip-top shape at all times for our patients. The Maintenance Assistant works under the direction of the Maintenance Director, and assists in maintaining the physical environment, including offices, common areas, and resident rooms.
The Maintenance Assistant will complete minor electrical repairs, removal of trash, maintaining the interior and exterior of the building as well as machinery and equipment. Completing work orders in a timely manner is the key to success in this role.
Schedule :
Full Time : Weekends Required
The Job :
Perform routine building maintenance duties to include : painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance.
Clean the interior of the building, as well as machinery / equipment, and exterior of the building.
Complete administrative duties such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to the Director.
Comply with all safety and health regulations.
Keep inventory of maintenance supplies, and report needs to the Director.
Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs.
Work with the Director to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
Minimum Requirements :
Ability to Successfully Pass NABS Fingerprint Background Screening and Drug Test
1 Years Experience in Maintenance
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
Active Driver's License
Preferred Requirements :
1 Year Experience in the Healthcare Setting.

The CMS has issued guidelines that all healthcare workers must be vaccinated for COVID. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be requested upon offer, or you may request a religious / medical exemption.
You may be asked to work overtime, as the needs of the facility fluctuate.
