We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Unit Manager who will lead and supervise licensed and non-professional staff in delivering direct resident care and support functions.
Schedule : NOC Full-Time
Key Responsibilities :
- Review residents' medical records to ensure accurate implementation and follow-up of specific treatments, medication orders, diets, labs, and other necessary care measures.
- Effectively communicate the department's policies and procedures to personnel, residents, and visitors as appropriate .
- Document and complete accident / incident reports involving residents or staff and promptly submit them to the Director of Nursing.
- Maintain meticulous records, including assessments and other medical documentation, ensuring compliance with care service requirements.
- Assist in determining staffing needs within the nursing service department to meet the comprehensive nursing requirements of the residents.
- Collaborate in developing work assignments, scheduling duty hours, and supervising nursing staff to ensure adherence to acceptable nursing standards.
- Support staff development by monitoring personnel performance through formal and informal methods and implementing coaching, counseling, and discipline techniques as needed.
