Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee and enhance the safety and guest experience during our evening hours. We are a family campground so we are not looking for police or armed guards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in security management, and the ability to effectively manage a team while keeping a resort vacation environment for all our guests.
Duties
- Supervise security personnel and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor surveillance systems to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential noise issues or general questions. Check bathrooms and replace supplies when needed
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and composure, utilizing conflict management techniques.
- Provide training for security staff on emergency procedures, first aid and other relevant skills.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents and security operations for management review.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security field or law enforcement.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Observation skills with attention to detail for identifying potential problems or lending a hand to guests or late check ins.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
