Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions, the leading global supplier of equipment, tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry.
As the Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the development, systematic rollout, and execution of marketing projects, events, and promotions across the USA Region. You will be responsible for providing support and guidance to objectively define a competitive position.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations
- Helps coordinate trade shows and event planning details for Sales Area USA
- Contributes to or utilizes Falcon for social media posting on LinkedIn and Facebook
- Able to create videos and images for social media and graphic projects in Canva, Photoshop or other similar programs
- Provides support to Marketing Manager
- Supports internal Webshop customers (for Sandvik branded merchandise) and works with vendors to refresh and keep track of spending limits, and set up new accounts
- Salesforce / Pardot experience for sending email campaigns is preferred
- Helps Marketing Manager with new branding projects and Sandvik brand webshop
- Has strong written communication skills with copyright experience preferred
- Gathers, analyzes and stores marketing intelligence information
- Prepares business market reports to interpret and communicate current market conditions and trends
- Conducts ad hoc research projects as defined by the business needs

- Complies with SMC safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements.
- Identifies and reports any unsafe work practices.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- 2-5 years related experience
- Computer proficiency in PC / web applications
- Experience in data mining and research techniques
- Willingness to work and figure things out on your own
- Travel up to 25%
- Candidate will live in the Atlanta area

- Excel experience with pivot tables and V lookups are essential
