Veterinary Technician Job Description
We at Sandy Paws are passionate about providing client-focused, high-quality veterinary care. We are also focused on providing a great work environment and work-life balance.
Would you like to be off every Saturday and Sunday and leave most work days around 5pm? Does working with all new equipment (purchased in 2020) at a clinic built out in 2020 sound great?
How about competitive pay based on experience and certifications, while being provided the opportunity to learn and expand your current skill set and annual reviews with raises to recognize quality work (ask our staff)? All while you are personally providing and performing meaningful care to a wide variety of animals?
If so, please contact us as our single-doctor, fear-free veterinary clinic is interested in hiring a full-time Veterinary Technician to become a critical member of our team.
As a successful candidate, you would be responsible for greeting our clients and patients, escorting them into an exam room and collecting basic history and vital signs. You would then assist the Veterinarian during physical exams, vaccines, sample collection and any diagnostics or treatments.
You would be comfortable assisting with surgical procedures, monitoring recovery, cleaning and storing the surgical instruments once the procedure is over. Appropriate training would be identified and provided.
We are looking for someone who would like to enjoy every day at work and would bring a positive attitude to our clients, patients and team.
We are a family friendly workplace. We strongly believe in every person’s right to spend time with their loved ones which, besides being able to provide quality care, is a key reason why Dr. Sasha started the clinic in 2020.
Our work schedule is:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8 am – 5 pm
Wednesday 12 pm – 7 pm
Saturday and Sunday – Closed
We are closed on major holidays, which are paid if during the week. These and other benefits like paid vacation, paid sick leave, reimbursement of pre-approved CE are available for full-time employees.
If you love working with animals and are committed to providing high-quality, client-focused care as a Veterinary Technician, we hope you’ll submit an application.
You can submit your resume here or call 404-455-1189 with any questions or concerns.
Thank you for considering us as your future workplace!
