Sandy Pines is a seasonal member recreational community, RV resort & campground 30 miles southwest of Grand Rapids. The resort encompasses 813 acres with Lake Monterey, a 216-acre lake and an 18-hole golf course. There are 2,200 seasonal member sites including a 54-unit year-round condo complex, campsites, cabins, and seasonal park model rentals. Sandy Pines is committed to supporting, developing, and maintaining a quality Recreational Park benefiting its members, families, and their guests.

Job Summary

The Member Service Representative will serve as a frontline resource for our members and guests. They ensure member data and information are accurate and updated in systems, answer questions, direct members and guests to the appropriate team, and assist with various requests and needs. They will take member payments, schedule services, and oversee member accounts and files. The Member Service Representative works closely with many teams to answer questions and resolve concerns.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for greeting guests and members and answering their questions.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service.
• Work in conjunction with other teams to understand and accurately communicate events, processes, procedures to members.
• Assist Camping and Sales with new member documents and filing.
• Process and upload member trust documents.
• Ensure member information is accurately recorded in system and update accordingly.
• Operate cash register and balance drawer daily.
• Post cash and credit card payments.
• Oversee bullpen distribution and fees.
• Administrative duties such as ordering supplies, filing, scanning, answering phones and returning voicemails, responding to emails, etc.
• Sort and distribute mail and packages to the appropriate team mailbox or area.
• Oversee rental process for pavilions.
• Oversee booking and scheduling procedures for the Flea Market.
• Maintain confidentiality of member accounts and information.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in an administrative or customer service role preferred.
• Must be able to work occasional Saturdays, 8am-12pm from April-September.
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Outlook and MS Office Suite; Experience with Dynamics 365 and POS systems a plus.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and shift priorities.
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail.

Working conditions

Team atmosphere with collaboration spanning many teams and groups within the Park. Fast-paced environment in season (April-October). This position involves working primarily in an indoor environment. It requires the employee to walk on various surface types throughout the day including, but not limited to, carpet, tile, cement.

Physical requirements

• Must be able to frequently stand and sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull, and move 25 Ibs.
• Must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull, and move 45 Ibs.
• Must be able to lift and move mail packages of varying sizes, shapes, and weight.
• Must be able to frequently bend, reach, and/or twist.
