Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee our organization's IT infrastructure and operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the software and assisting team members, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems, and implementing best practices in project management and technical support. This role requires a strong background in supervising IT operations, with a focus on business continuity planning and technical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the IT operations team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Manage projects effectively using tools such as Jira to ensure timely delivery of IT initiatives.
- Oversee the administration of Active Directory, ensuring user access and security protocols are maintained.
- Configure and maintain routers and LAN infrastructure to support organizational connectivity. This may require travel of 1-2 days per month.
- Provide technical support to staff, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Develop and implement business continuity plans to safeguard critical IT services during disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT operations with business goals and objectives.
- Monitor system performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
- Maintain documentation related to IT processes, configurations, and procedures.
- Maintain and Update Price Book and entire Database regularly to ensure proper operations management
- Work with POS software, ECRS Catapult, to ensure Loyalty programs, Inventory, and Rebates are displayed properly.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and SQL is required to ensure database management.
- Strong Communication Skills with Partners, Vendors, and Third Party Management companies is extremely important
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an IT management role with a focus on operations supervision.
- Strong project management skills with proficiency in tools such as Jira.
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory management and user access controls.
- Experience with routers and LAN setup/management is essential.
- Solid understanding of SQL for database management tasks is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of providing effective technical support.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to develop strategic plans for IT operations that align with organizational objectives.
