What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teaching Position for Middle School Grades position at Sandy Spring Friends School?
We seek a dynamic educator to join our team as a substitute teacher in our Middle School grades 6th - 8th. As a member of our community, you will be part of a progressive, coed, academically-rigorous day and boarding school serving approximately 700 students from age three through 12th grade.

As a substitute teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Middle School aged children. You should have strong interpersonal skills, effective oral and written communication skills, and experience working with cooperative and differentiated instruction.
Candidates who value the importance of diversity and can share, teach, and appreciate wide perspectives are highly sought after. Familiarity with Quaker education would be advantageous.
