Job Responsibilities:
Our Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for ventilator management, administering nebulizer treatments, performing EKGs, and operating BIPAP/CPAP and bedside spirometry equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, effective equipment operation abilities, and the capacity to prioritize daily tasks while providing patient care.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have graduated from an accredited respiratory care program and hold a Minnesota state license.
Requirements:
- BLS certification is mandatory
- ACLS and NRP certifications are preferred
- Minnesota state licensure is required
Schedule Information:
This position offers flexible scheduling with both 8- and 12-hour shifts, including rotating weekends. Floating to all departments within the hospital is also required.
Unit-Specific Information:
Candidates will work in various areas, including ED, ICU, Med Surg, Peds, OB, and Family Care.
