Job Details

General job duties include performing general ultrasound exams including small parts, abdomen, and OB / GYN independently.

Must be proficient in OB scanning as this is a high percentage of exams performed.

Ability to assist with IR / Radiologist procedures requiring ultrasound guidance.

Ability to perform breast ultrasound and breast procedures.

Job Requirements

Two years’ experience in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in all exams in general job duties description above.

Strong scanning abilities in OB and Breast required.

Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) – Both AB (abdomen), OB / GYN & BR specialty registries preferred.

Schedule Information

Sonographers perform 10-12 exams per 8 hour shift.

Unit Specific Information

Sonographer will be orientated to department procedures, policies and scan protocols by lead sonographer in department.

Expect traveler to be able to scan independently within 1 week of starting.

Additional Details

2 years experience in a fast paced environment

Strong OB / GYN experience required

BLS - must be AHA

Abdomen experience

Ability to perform breast ultrasound and breast procedures

Breast certification - highly preferred

Able / willing to run MN Net Study
