Job Details
General job duties include performing diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images.
Operates equipment to produce diagnostic images according to patient cases and relevant guidelines; ensures the quality of images is satisfactory for clinical purposes.
Required to perform x-ray, CT, C-arm & fluoro imaging.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic x-ray and CT imaging.
ARRT RT(R) certification is required; ARRT CT certification is preferred.
Experience performing scans in an OR setting is required.
Unit Specific Information
Orientate in the department through x-ray equipment, C-arms, and CT.
Will not be scheduled alone until they are fully orientated in all modalities.
Review policies, procedures, and modality specific protocols.
